Ian Goodwin
BScPT, FCAMPT, DipManipPT, cGIMS, MATS
Ian graduated from Dalhousie University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. After receiving his degree, Ian assisted with the delivery of orthopaedic physiotherapy courses at Dalhousie. In 2004, he completed his Advanced Diploma of Manual and Manipulative Therapy.
In 2003, Ian left his clinical practice in Halifax to work as a therapist for Cirque du Soleil. For four years, Ian travelled around the globe with the touring show, Alegria, which consisted of a troupe of 60 elite acrobats and performers.
In 2008, Ian became a certified Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) practitioner. In 2009, he attended the Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT) internship in Denver, CO. In 2010, Ian became the first physiotherapist in western Canada to become an MAT specialist.
At Tower Physio, Ian brings a wealth of experience in the fields of sport biomechanics, soft tissue techniques and spinal manipulation.
Away from the clinic, Ian enjoys golf, crossfit, and traveling.
