Tim received his Honours Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy degree in 1998 from Queen's University. Additionally, Tim is a certified Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) practitioner and he possesses both a Diploma in Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy and a certificate in acupuncture.
Tim travelled extensively for 5 years as a selected Team Physiotherapist for the Canadian Men's Rugby Team. He also has had the opportunity to travel with the Canadian Long Track and Short Track Speed Skating Teams and the Canadian Development Snowboarding Team.
At Tower Physio, Tim assesses and treats patients with chronic neck and back pain, most whom have failed other forms of treatment. Tim is certified to use eToims (electrical twitch obtaining intramuscular stimulation), the first machine of its kind to be used in Canada. The eToims machine is designed to stimulate and release deep, chronic, and tight muscles caused by nerve dysfunction.
Tim also works at the Advanced Spinal Care Centre, EFW Radiology, where he assesses and treats complex spinal conditions that may require further intervention such as prolotherapy or radiological interventions.
When Tim isn't healing patients, he enjoys spending time with his family, running, skiing, and playing tennis.
